I have used these photos many times before- they are my favorites in Sepia. Reminiscent of the old world, but taken in modern day.

Often times we may wish that we could go back in time and give our former selves advice and words of wisdom. If you could go back in time, what would advice or encouragement would you give to yourself?
Dear 15 year old me,
1. Don’t be hard on yourself because …
Things do seem to work out in the end.
2. The relationship you’re in ….
Will teach you what you don’t want, and what you do need.
3. You will get through this because …
One way or another everything passes, and while you are going through it you will find reserves within yourself you didn’t know existed.
4. Don’t get caught up in thinking …
Why, How could it, it is a waste of energy and time. You will see that things happen because they do, move through it, and make the choice to change what isn’t working.
5. These experiences will help you learn …
More about yourself, who you really are, what you really need.

Terri has chosen Time for the theme this week. It can be interpreted in many ways.

BFF’s. 1975 and 2017. Life and the passage of time. Who knows where the time goes….
It is Autumn in my neck of the woods, the temps dropping a little each day, the leaves on the trees changing color. I am a summer person who loves the warmth of the sun, the long days, the ocean and beach. I have never lived in a place without winter, but have become less tolerant of it as I have grown older. I remember one year not long ago when the snow started falling in early November, ending in April. We felt as if winter would just never end. Lat year brought a few storms, but they did not appear until January, though it did snow on the first day of Spring.

From May to September of each year, 114 tents are erected around the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ. These tents form “Tent City,” a tradition of the Camp Meeting Association of Ocean Grove that dates back to 1869. Each tent is connected to a shed containing a kitchen and bathroom; the sheds are also used to store the tents during the winter.
