There is nothing quite like seeing a bird soaring overhead, flapping its wings and then gliding along. I am still getting the hang of capturing them in flight through the lens, but here are a few I did manage to capture flying.

Ooh! Is one of those a type of eagle, Lisa? All the photos of “birds in flight” are challenging! I am not able to capture these on my cellphone! The final picture is so wonderful with the feet skimming across the shimmering water! 🙂

That big one is a hawk Robin. I can never capture birds in flight on a cell phone, only with the camera. Glad you liked that last one- it is one of my favorites 🙂
