As a child I remember when it was a railroad bridge and it caught on fire in the early 1970’s. They have transformed an abandoned bridge into a wonderful venue for walking and seeing the Hudson River.

Did you know that I was born in Poughkeepsie? At St. Francis Hospital. In those days IBM was the town’s largest employer. I have always wanted to take that walk. When my bionic knee let’s me we will.
