Feathered Friends & Foliage

The clocks turned back and I gained an hour so off at went at 7am for a walk. I found a log -on the far right in the photo below-to sit on off the trail in the park I visit, and watched the birds flying in and out of the feeder there. dscn8168Close enough to hear the whoosh of their wings as they flew by me, yet far away enough that they didn’t realize I was there. The sun was shining on these trees, but the reeds were still shaded, making for an interesting look in this photo. I have done nothing to alter it- though the reeds almost look superimposed in the front.dscn8089

I couldn’t resist a wave to myself within the early sun and beauty of the day!dscn8096
