Summer in Winter

The temperatures here in the Northeastern United States have been “unseasonably warm” this year. I don’t know the reason and it really doesn’t matter- I am clicking my heels together everyday about it and though sorry I haven’t been able to pull out the wool turtlenecks I love, I am not that sorry. My husband and I headed down to the New Jersey shore for a quick overnight stay, and drank in the sunshine and warmth. Come join us and feel the warmth too!

  1. You must be having FUN! Weirdly, California, is facing cold and snow in the mountains. It’s a GOOD thing! The news showed a snowy picture of Squaw Valley in Tahoe stating there hasn’t been that much snow in December in many years. Hopefully we will get that warm sun in Baja in two weeks 🙂 Enjoy it while you can!

    • The weather is crazy, turned upside down. So far I am smiling about it. It rained like crazy here today- now over, had it been snow we would be shoveling in the morning. So glad not to be! 🙂

  2. 1964. Queens, New York. Christmas and New Year’s were “top down” days, in the high sixties. Every now and again, we get a nice, warm winter. It doesn’t mean it will stay this way to the end, but it could. It might. Think positive!

  3. Looks wonderful. Love warm winters! We just got hit with a nice snowstorm though, but fortunately it’ll be warming back into the 50s this weekend.

  4. Oh you are a brave woman, I am not sure if I would have put my toes in the water. It is finally a bit colder here. The weather is crazy. I wouldn’t mind a bit snow around Christmas.
